DVS install a piece of software on your computer that is easy to setup and runs in the background not slowing down the every day operation of your computer, all the files you selected in the setup wizard will be backed up at the time you specified, the DVS open files option ensures even files in use are backed up.

DVS Security

DVS is protecting your data at all times; using secure encryption DVS Backup creates a secure link between your PC and our secure servers, locking in your PC so no other unauthorised person can access your data from another system.

DVS Automatic backups

The DVS Backup Scheduler allows you to automate your backups choosing which files to backup and when you want to back them up. You can truly SET IT, SAVE IT & FORGET IT !!! DVS will backup your files and changes you have made on scheduled basis. Depending on the version of software you have purchased we keep from 7 to 30 day versions of changes to your files so you can roll back a corrupted file to restore the last good version.

Restore your files whenever you need

Using DVS Backup, restoring files couldn't be easier just click on restore and select Full restore or select a file to restore, your files are then downloaded to a place of your choice or to their original locations, so if you have had you PC stolen or lost a Hard drive you are safe with DVS Backup.

Magic Folders

Magic Folders are folders on your local computer that are synchronized with the DVS servers and you can access its files from the internet. Magic Folders can be activated from the configuration wizard. There are three types of Magic Folder distinguished by its access security level:

• Private Magic Folder: Files under this folder are private and require you to login with your DVS account username and password for access.
• Friends Magic Folder: Store files on this folder that you want to share with friends and team members. You will set a password for this folder and only those that you give the password to can have access to the files.
• Public Magic Folder: Store files on this folder that you want to be available to anyone. It does not require a password to access so you can use this folder to share files from your personal blogs or work space.

Time Vault

With Time Vault you can select any folder under your "My Documents" folder to be monitored in real time for changes that are continuously backed up over the internet. Use the Time Vault feature to protect your time sensitive data so if you need a restore you will always have the most recent data available. Data in the time vault is not viewable on the website and is held in our secure storage area.
